RASPBERRY AUTUMN BLISS: Large succulent fruits from late Summer until Autumn frosts. An excellent new variety. producing masses of tasty fruit of a very high quality. Makes fruity home-made jams. pies and suitable for home freezing. Produces short erect cones requiring minimal support and maintenance. AWARD-WINNING FRUIT: This plant/cultivar has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit because it has proved to be reliable in appropriate conditions and a good performing plant. SUITABLE FOR: Sheltered spot in a well-drained but moist, fertile soil in full sun or light shade. YIELD: About 1kg (2lb) from every 30cm (12in) run of row. SPACING: Plant 45cm (18in) apart in rows 1.2m (4ft) apart. PLANTING: Soak the rootball before planting. Plant in a hole twice the diameter of the rootball or pot. Mix an organic soil improver and general fertiliser with the infill soil. Water regularly until established. CARE: Fruit is produced on current seasons canes. Cut all canes to ground level in the Winter. Keep rows 60cm (2ft) wide by removing unwanted canes in the Spring.
