With a honey-like sweetness and delicate tropical undertones, Fall Gold is one of the best snacking raspberries on the market. Yields medium to large berries with a soft, golden hue that deepens to an attractive apricot-orange when fully ripe. As an everbearing variety, Fall Gold produces fruit twice per year; once in midsummer on second-year canes and again in fall, on first-year canes. The fall harvest is particularly prolific and long-lasting, often extending until the first frost. The canes are vigorous and relatively thornless compared to other cultivars. While they remain compact at 4 to 5 feet tall, the canes benefit from trellising to ensure they remain upright. Fall Gold has excellent disease resistance and thrives in USDA zones 3–8, making it one of the hardiest raspberries available.
