Raspberry 'Heritage' (Red) - OrganicRubus idaeus 'Heritage' Height: 1.25 m Width: 0.75 m Zone: 3 Exposure: Sun to part shade Heritage plants produce abundant crops of large, sweet, dark red berries that are perfect for eating fresh, canning, freezing, or making jams and jellies. A popular variety that has few spines. Cold-hardy. Everbearing variety with a crop ripening in July and again in September. Raspberries require at least 6 hours of sun and well drained soil. They are happiest in a nutrient-rich, slightly acidic soil, but will still produce in poorer soils. Raspberries are self-fertile so you do not need two varieties for cross-pollination.
