Raspberry Silk is a one-of-a-kind ring representing the toughness of softness. Signet rings were historically used to seal documents in wax to make them legally binding, but I've scattered this signet ring with sparkly pink tourmalines and pink sapphires to turn it into a talisman that 'seals' love, healing, and feminine power. I called this one a of kind ring 'Raspberry Silk'. It may seems strange to name such a solid and weighty signet ring after delicate rasberries and silk, but raspberry canes die every winter and return every summer, and silk is spun from a creature that dissolves itself completely before becoming something new. These soft, natural materials are strong in a different way to the strength of metal. Their strength comes from their ability to grow, dissolve, grow, and dissolve again, just like the depth, adaptability, and transformation found in feminine power. Method: This ring was handmade in England using the ancient art of sandcasting, which has infused it with a slightly gnarled texture to the surface of the ring and ring band. These unique imperfections make it an unrepeatable treasure. After the ring was sand cast, space was burred out to set each gemstone, which was then set by hand. Materials: x1 round lab-grown pink sapphire, x1 4x3mm oval natural baby pink sapphire, x1 4x3mm oval natural pink tourmaline, x5 round natural pink tourmalines, sterling silver. Total ring weight 11.9g. Ring Size: This ring is currently size UK L 1/2 (US 5 1/2) and can be resized to a size UK M (US 6), UK M 1/2 (US 6 1/2), or UK N (US 7). Please confirm which size you would like in the box at checkout. Hallmarking: Please allow up to 2 weeks for shipping after purchasing to give me enough time to post the ring to the assay office for hallmarking.
