RASPBERRY TULAMEEN: A heavy mid-to-late season cropper producing exceptionally high yields of sweet-flavoured fruits from July onwards. Easy and rewarding to grow, with vigorous gr owth produced each year. SUITABLE FOR: Sheltered spot in a well-drained but moist, fertile soil in full sun or light shade. YIELD: About 1kg (2lb) from every 30cm [12in] run of row. SPACING: Plant 45cm (18in) apart in rows 1.2m [4ft) apart. PLANTING: Soak the rootball before planting. Plant in a hole twice the diameter of the rootball or pot. Mix an organic soil improver and general fertiliser with the infill soil. Water regularly until established. CARE: Fruit is produced on previous year's canes. First year - cut down old canes when new shoots appear. Subsequent years - cut older canes back to ground level after fruiting and tie in newly produced canes removing the tips. Show more
