Our award winning Mulling Spice is a delicious and aromatic blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, orange and lemon ideal for creating hot spiced cider, mulled wine or summer sangria. Apple Spice Cake 1 yellow cake mix ½ stick unsalted butter 3 eggs 1 cup sour cream 1 pkg. (set aside 1 tsp.) Raven’s Original Spice 1 ½ cups peeled and diced crisp apples (granny smith) Mix first five ingredients well. Add apples and pour into greased & floured Bundt pan or muffin tins. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown (45 minutes for Bundt cake or 15-20 minutes for cupcakes). Cool 10 min. Glaze or add icing and top with chopped pecans. For glaze: Mix 1 tsp. Raven’s Original and 2 Tbsp. half and half, then slowly add 1 cup powdered sugar. Add in orange slices, cranberries, cinnamon stick and Star Anise. Heat to a simmer. Can also be served chilled. Spiced Apple Cider Margaritas Ingredients 1.5 ounces silver tequila 1-2 tsp Raven's Mulling Spices ½ ounce fresh lime juice 1 ounce Triple Sec 6 ounces hard apple cider (or non-alcoholic apple cider) InstructionsTo make one cocktail: In a mixing glass, combine tequila, mulling spices, lime juice and Triple Sec. Stir well. Pour over ice. Top with hard apple cider.
