Dye lots might differ slight ly, although dyers do strive for consistency. Colors may also appear different due to monitor or phone settings. Various fabric types and counts dye differently; for example, Lugana and Aida tend to dye lighter, while Jobelan dyes significantly lighter than Linen and Lugana.
