The Ray Mears Leather Cable Tidy is a simple device inspired by the humble leaf in shape and one that we think will prove very useful as part of your packing system. Designed to accommodate one or two cables from the typical ear buds to thicker phone charging cables, this carefully shaped tidy will cause minimum kinking to your cables. This unique item is produced in house from a fine vegetable tanned leather which has been hand dyed to the unique Woodlore Rich Brown colour. The press stud is made from brass with an antique finish. A small hole in the side of the tidy allows for the addition of a clip if desired. To use: wrap your cable around your fingers gently, avoiding twisting the cable. Then place the coil over the central stud before folding the large hole over the stud and securing the press-stud top. For use with two cables either place one on top of the other, or place each one over the fold areas either side of the central stud base; the cables can be loosely wound directly around the leather if desired. All of our leather and canvas goods are hand-made by Woodlore's resident leather worker Becky Brewster, a craftswoman with decades of experience. The leather used in this product is vegetable tanned with full, natural grain and hand-dyed in house to the unique Woodlore rich brown colour.
