RBC200 RS is a light, recycled ripstop built for projects that need to stay tough without adding weight. It's a single-ply woven recycled polyester with a ripstop grid woven in, so a small nick or snag stops at the grid instead of running. A C0 DWR on the face sheds light rain and a water-resistant PU coating on the back adds another layer of protection, making it a practical choice for stuff sacks, pack liners, wind layers, pouches, and lightweight bags. Like the rest of the recycled line, it does some good while it works: the polyester is recycled, and every yard saves about a pound of carbon emissions compared with standard nylon or polyester fabric. At a light 181 gsm it keeps finished gear trim and packable. RBC200 RS is water-resistant rather than waterproof, which suits most bags, liners, and wind layers well. If a build needs to handle sustained rain or submersion, look at the waterproof EcoPak laminates instead. For a heavier, plain-weave recycled fabric in the same family, see RBC400.
