We find the denatured alcohol CROWN Alcohol Stove Fuel works well and burn clean with this stove. Other denatured alcohol may be used but need user’s own careful experiment. If the denatured alcohol has higher heating value than Ethanol (C2H6O), it will cause the incomplete burn.
