RCAI® MPO 2000® Active Orthosis includes a low-profile, removable ambulatory attachment to convert boot from a bed positioning device to a limited ambulation device. Ambulatory attachement secures with a simple "twist and lock" motion - no tools needed. Orthosis floats the heel to eliminate pressure and/or friction, enhancing circulation to aid in healing. Dynamic flex action supplies continuous counterforce to the plantar surface of the foot, assisting in correction of footdrop, foot/ankle contracture, and deformity. Breathable, antibacterial foam liner wicks moisture while maintaining skin integrity. Adjustable toe post keeps pressure off toes and can be positioned to the side for lateral/malleolar ulcers. Includes rotator bar to control hip and leg rotation and provide functional alignment, and nonskid transfer attachment. Fits left or right.
