In stock, fast UK delivery. The RCF EVOX V15 is a high-output, professional 3-way active column PA system engineered for mobile DJs, live bands, venue production teams, and corporate audio-visual specialists who demand concert-grade clarity and immense bass projection from a sleek portable footprint. Powered by a 3500W peak (1750W RMS) dual-channel Class-D amplifier module, the system reaches a maximum sound pressure level of 133 dB across a broad 35 Hz to 20 kHz frequency spectrum. Its true three-way acoustic architecture features a high-precision 15-inch RCF woofer in a Baltic birch plywood subwoofer enclosure, coupled with a top column hosting ten 4-inch neodymium midrange drivers and a 1-inch exit (1.75-inch voice coil) neodymium compression driver mounted to a 120° x 40° True Resistive Waveguide. Outfitted with advanced FiRPHASE and Bass Motion Control DSP, industrial Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 TOP connections, and an included padded column bag, the EVOX V15 delivers linear, uncompromised sound reinforcement for high-capacity events. Staff Take: The Expert Verdict The single strongest selling point of the RCF EVOX V15 is its true three-way acoustic architecture backed by a massive 3500W Class-D amplifier module. By delegating high, mid, and low frequencies to dedicated driver arrays—including a dedicated 1.75-inch voice coil compression driver on a constant directivity waveguide—the V15 maintains crystal-clear vocal intelligibility and high-frequency snap even when the 15-inch sub is pumping heavy low-end. We highly recommend this active column system for touring performers, high-end wedding DJs, and venue hosts who want the sonic punch of a massive point-source system in a sleek, space-saving format that sets up in minutes. Why Choose the RCF EVOX V15 Column System? Massive 3500W Class-D bi-amplification: Drives 2000W peak to the 15-inch woofer and 1500W peak to the top array for effortless headroom and fast transient response. True 3-way acoustic architecture: Utilizes a dedicated 15-inch woofer, ten 4-inch neodymium midrange drivers, and a 1.75-inch voice coil compression driver to ensure distortion-free sound reproduction across all frequencies. 133 dB maximum SPL output: Generates immense acoustic energy capable of easily covering large banquet halls, outdoor marquees, and live music venues. 120° x 40° True Resistive Waveguide: Projects consistent, coherent horizontal coverage to ensure audience members on the extreme sides hear identical acoustic detail. FiRPHASE & Bass Motion Control (BMC) processing: Proprietary RCF algorithms optimize phase linearity while controlling woofer excursion without restricting deep low-end output. Onboard application DSP presets: Select between Linear, Live, Club, and Voice preset curves via the rear panel to instantly optimize the system for your performance type. Road-ready hybrid construction: Combines a tour-grade Baltic birch plywood subwoofer cabinet with a lightweight polypropylene composite top column for structural rigidity and fast deployment. Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 TOP connectivity: Features heavy-duty, IP65-rated locking power input and loop-output connections to guarantee safe mains routing on stage. Who is the RCF EVOX V15 best suited for? The RCF EVOX V15 is designed first and foremost for high-end mobile DJs, touring bands, corporate event producers, and hire companies who need maximum sound output without hauling oversized box enclosures. Its slim vertical footprint and elegant aesthetic allow it to blend seamlessly into formal wedding receptions, gala dinners, and upscale corporate presentations, while its 133 dB peak SPL output provides enough volume for high-energy dance floors. For secondary applications, this active column system is an outstanding choice for mid-sized venues, places of worship, and live music bars seeking a permanent sound solution. Because the top column nests cleanly onto the subwoofer pole mount and hooks up via simple cabling, setup and teardown can be managed by a single technician in under five minutes. RCF EVOX V15 vs Standard Column PA Systems — What's Changed? The primary advantage of moving to the RCF EVOX V15 over standard 2-way column systems lies in its dedicated three-way driver configuration and upgraded transducer matrix. Traditional column speakers rely on tiny full-range drivers to handle both high frequencies and midrange vocals, leading to high-end harshness and thermal compression at higher volumes. The EVOX V15 resolves this by assigning ten dedicated 4-inch neodymium drivers strictly to the midrange and adding a high-output 1.75-inch compression driver for high frequencies, resulting in dramatically smoother vocals and sweeter highs. Secondary improvements center around low-end extension and amplifier headroom. While many portable columns feature 10-inch or 12-inch subwoofers, the V15 deploys a high-excursion 15-inch woofer backed by 2000W peak Class-D power. This delivers deep, punchy sub-bass down to 35 Hz, eliminating the need to haul external subwoofers to high-energy DJ gigs or live band performances. How to Set Up the RCF EVOX V15 Unpack the 15-inch subwoofer unit and place it on a flat, stable, level surface. Thread the included mounting pole securely into the top flange of the subwoofer cabinet. Remove the top column array from its included padded carry bag and mount it carefully onto the top of the pole. Connect the speaker link cable from the subwoofer output jack to the top column input jack. Connect your balanced line-level audio input (from a mixer or controller) to the rear panel XLR/TRS combo socket. Connect a Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 TOP mains cable to the power input connector and twist to lock. Select your desired DSP preset (Linear, Live, Club, or Voice) using the rear panel rotary control, power on the system, and adjust the main volume gain. Yes, the complete retail system includes a factory-padded carry bag designed specifically to protect the top column array during transport and storage. Can I run the EVOX V15 with an additional external subwoofer? Yes. If extra low-end reinforcement is needed for massive outdoor events, you can run the signal into an external subwoofer (such as an RCF SUB AX series sub) using its built-in integration presets before linking to the EVOX V15. What is the advantage of the powerCON TRUE1 TOP power connector? Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 TOP connectors feature a heavy-duty locking design with IP65 weather resistance. This prevents accidental power disconnects on busy stages and allows you to daisy-chain power to additional active speakers safely. Is the EVOX V15 fan-cooled or convection-cooled? The 3500W Class-D amplifier module utilizes fanless convection cooling via an anodized rear aluminum heat exchanger. This ensures completely silent operation with no fan noise during quiet acoustic sets or speaking events. How does Bass Motion Control (BMC) work? RCF's proprietary Bass Motion Control technology measures the dynamic excursion of the 15-inch woofer in real time. Instead of using a harsh high-pass filter that cuts bass, BMC limits over-excursion only when necessary, keeping low frequencies deep, punchy, and undistorted.
