About the Reader's Candle We're celebrating all of you with a new “Reader's Candle” that melds an exclusive book list and a heartwarming scent. Featuring a book list curated by our founder, Vanessa, each title resonates with a special moment in time and bears witness to her journey through life. The scent is a fusion of Vanessa’s childhood memories and impression of the ocean, a fond memory she holds close to her heart. Our reader's candle epitomises Scentory’s vision — to create worldly experiences for all by stimulating the five senses — and a conclusion to the first part of our brand journey. We’re so happy to have local artist Benson Koo’s artwork commemorate this pivotal moment on our journey, capturing our creativity with his childlike brushstrokes and an intimate response to our booklist. The books I’ve picked echo the many light and dark moments in life. Each title is linked to a specific memory, emotion or moment in time, and I remember each of them fondly, as one recalls the moment they fell in love.
