Sitting on the outskirts of the site of the Reading Abbey ruins, Forbury Gardens started life as the 'Pleasure Gardens' in 1856. The Maiwand Lion statue has stood there since 1886 and has become a well-recognised emblem of the town of Reading. Giclee print using high quality, archival inks on Studio Fine Art Matt 240gsm smooth bright white paper that will last for decades without fading or deterioration. Choose from print alone, or framed. Framed options use a 1.4mm thick ivory mount and a black/grained solid wood frame. These frames will contain glass, not plexiglass/acrylic.
