Tasted blind you'd expect this to be possibly an Albarino, perhaps a well-made Pinot Grigio. You probably wouldn't expect it to be an inexpensive dry Pedro Ximenez (the grape varie ty best known for its exceptionally sweet and concentrated fortified versions made in Spain's Jerez) from the east of Mendoza and made by one of Argentina's top producers of Malbec and Cabernet Franc.
