This platter has a flavour of mid-century modern with the lines and bubbles, but also a fun element playing on the optical bends to the lines by the placement of the glass pieces, just like raindrops! The platter is made with a single piece of clear glass to which lines of coloured stringers are added. Squares of coloured transparent glass are laid on top of the stringers in an alternating pattern that give the light-bending, raindrop effect. The platter measures approx. 12.5cm x 25cm (5" x 10") This platter would make a great gift for any occasion and looks good in any room or table setting. This platter is made with decorative glass and does not contain lead. Do not place the platter in a microwave or a dishwasher as this will dull the glass, hand wash only with mild soap solution.
