Blue Haven's view is across to West beach and Demspter Head , it's a brisk walk down the stairs to reach the sand but well worth it, The use of haven in the bay's name is most probably because it is sheltered from the south westerly winds in winter, which makes it a nice spot to drop an anchor in the bay for fishing.
