Nelumbo nucifera — bowl lotus, shipped as a dormant lotus tuber. Big red petals and a lovely flower shape make 'Red at Sunset' a favorite here at the nursery. The large flower is usually cup-shaped on the first day and then opens wide. Always dependable and easy to grow! The small size means it will grow well in a miniature pot but we like to grow it in 12" diameter pots.
