In this artwork, I use photographs I’ve taken of graffiti found on electrical boxes.This is a handmade collage on canvas. The motif consists of black-and-white photos that have bee n folded and torn.The background is made from torn posters taken from Malmö city’s electrical boxes. When assembling the background, I use parts of the canvas’s sides and depth to create an extra dimension – meaning the posters are visible along certain edges of the canvas.For adhesion, I use wallpaper paste, just as street culture prescribes. Finally, a varnish is applied to subtly enhance the texture and colors of the painting. The varnish also acts as a protective layer, extending the artwork’s lifespan.The canvas is 70 x 100 x 3 cm and ready to hang. Show more
