When we collect these anemones from the tanks for you, we will collect a specimen that will not undergo significant stress in collection. Often this means finding one on the glass so that it does not need to be removed from a rock (which would damage the specimen during shipping). Sometimes the anemones will be on a tile or come attached to some crushed coral. All anemones have over a 1" base or greater and open up more than 2" in diameter.(sometimes they are much larger) That said anemones expand and contract in different conditions.
