Description: This 2-Day (16 hr) course takes a principle based, performance driven approach to shooting Red Dot equipped Pistols. Using live-fire drills and an explanation of what to pay attention to in dry-fire, this course will you give the skills to analyze and improve your own shooting and help take you to the next level. Whether you are an armed professional, competitor, or armed citizen, Red Dot Performance will give you a roadmap to mastery. • Principle-Based Fundamentals• Pistol Mounted Optics Theory and Application• Mounting and Zero Procedures• Pistol Mounted Optics fundamentals• Pistol Mounted Optic Malfunctions and Troubleshooting• Speed and Accuracy• Vision in Shooting• Self-Diagnosis• Multiple Target Engagements Required Equipment:• A pistol with a mounted optic• A belt mounted holster that covers the trigger and trigger guard• 3 magazines for double stacked magazines or 5-7 for single stacked magazines• Magazine pouches for two magazines• 1000 rounds of quality ammunition• Eye and ear protection• Spare batteries and tools for optic• Weather appropriate clothing.• Note Taking Equipment and a positive attitude This course is NOT appropriate for novice or beginner shooters.
