The RED DSMC 1.8" Side SSD Module is an accessory for older-generation RED cinema cameras, like the EPIC and SCARLET. It mounts to the side of the camera body, providing a dedicate d slot for REDMAG 1.8" Solid-State Drives (SSDs). This allows filmmakers to record high-resolution, raw footage directly onto robust, proprietary media. The module is more than just a media slot; it integrates essential camera controls and connectivity directly into its housing. In addition to recording functionality, it features user-assignable keys and an EVF/LCD port for connecting a RED monitor or viewfinder. It is an integral component of the modular DSMC (Digital Stills and Motion Camera) system, enabling flexible and reliable on-location recording. Show more
