Most of the imagery in the Big Sky Art collection are by me, Gemma. But my husband Henry is often in the most beautifully wild environments with his work as a field ecologist, and also takes the most beautiful images. He is a brilliant wildlife photographer, and excels at capturing birds, reptiles, mammals - you name it. He also takes stunning landscape photos. But close up, detail and in this case 'birds-eye' images of colours, textures, patterns and lines have started creeping in. He'll focus on the feathers of a bird, or the skin of a gecko. And I absolutely love these shots. In this collection he has taken a series of photos from a helicopter flying over the magnificent Pilbara region of Western Australia. This is my favourite of the lot and we have had a version of this on our wall for years. PRINTS AND FRAMING All our images are produced on the highest quality premium, 230 gsm white matte photo paper, and printed with Epson Ultrachrome PRO HDR Archival Inks at a resolution of 2400 x 1200 DPI. A narrow white border will be included around your print to give the artwork space, and let it breathe, against the frame. Our frames are made from plantation grown, environmentally sustainable timber with genuine, durable 2mm thick glass which doesn't flex, and is easy to clean. Frames are available in either a smooth matte white, smooth matte black or a natural timber. They are a premium, contemporary box-styled frame, measuring 2cm wide on the face and 3cm deep against the wall. All come are ready to hang. Please allow up to 3mm variance on dimensions as these products are hand-made. Both prints and frames are produced and assembled in Melbourne, Australia from premium materials.
