Red Edge is a family-owned winery located in the heart of the famed Heathcote wine region of Central Victoria. Established in 1994 by winemaker Peter Dredge, Red Edge prioritise minimal intervention and traditional techniques to produce wines that express the unique character of Heathcote’s terroir. Long considered one of the Heathcote region's best value Shiraz, the 2022 Red Edge Degree Shiraz is another impressive release. Made up of 90% Shiraz, blended with small component of Mourvèdre (6%) and Riesling (4%), this delivers a beautifully aromatic and approachable. A wine designed to be enjoyed in its youth, this has plenty of dark plum, blackberry and licorice notes, with soft tannins providing further structure.
