Vivid red, cool blue and yellow collide in Red Frame, an abstract composition built around the three primary colours. Weinberger approached the canvas spontaneously, allowing each gesture to determine what followed rather than working towards a predetermined image. That immediacy remains visible in the finished painting: colours meet, interrupt and frame one another in an energetic visual exchange. Simple in its palette but restless in its execution, the work turns the fundamentals of colour into an exercise in movement and instinct.
