Proof that sport and style need not be mutually exclusive, this limited edition pre-owned Chanel surfboard dates to 2015 and traces its lineage back to Karl Lagerfeld's 1991 Spring/Summer runway, where the surfboard first appeared as a staple of Chanel's sporting collections. Designed by Philippe Barland, the board is shaped from a striking red-to-white gradient in carbon fibre, polyurethane and fibreglass, finished with the house's interlocking CC logo on the base and Chanel branding across the front. It stands as a genuinely wearable piece of design history for those who take their beach days seriously. The board is in good condition, with scratches and discolouration consistent with use; it has been restored, leaving the tip a slightly different shade of red, and the cover is not included.
