Red Handled Rocker Knife Easy to grip paediatric dining aid Brightly-coloured handle ideal for visually impaired children Enables easy food cutting with a simple rocking motion Mobility aid for restricted hand/wrist movement This Red Handled Rocker Knife is an ideal mobility aid for children and young people with limited hand or wrist movement. This paediatric kitchen and dining aid is easy-to-grip and designed to make mealtimes easier. The bright red coloured handle of the knife is made from flexible contoured rubber, ensuring that it's easy to grip and easy to see for those with visual impairments. The Red Handled Rocker Knife has a curved stainless steel blade enabling it to cut food with a simple rocking motion that doesn't require as much strength and dexterity as cutting or slicing food with a standard knife. Combined with the thick rubber handle, this makes it far easier to use compared to standard cutlery, which in turn makes dining less of a struggle and more enjoyable. The Red Handled Rocker Knife has been designed as a kitchen and dining aid to encourage independence at mealtimes and make everyday life easier. The knife is latex-free so suitable for use by children with latex allergies or skin sensitivity. The knife is also dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
