Our hemp rope is perfect for sensitive skin, crafted from natural hemp yarn using traditional techniques. The texture is incredibly soft, making it ideal for suspension. Raw Material: European hemp yarn Dyeing Process: Natural, eco-friendly dyes are used to color the yarn. After dyeing, the yarn is treated with high heat to set the color before being woven into ropes. Softener: Skin-safe softener (commonly used for washing underwear) Wax Block Material: Natural beeswax Packaging: Discreet packaging Processing Procedure: Utilizing traditional Japanese craftsmanship, the process includes material softening, waxing, cutting, knotting, scenting, and packaging. All our rope is ethically sourced, fully conditioned, and ready to use. We cut each rope piece to order, and hand finish them with our trademark, bomb-proof whipping in black. Our hemp is processed with vegan, jojoba oils. Our premium hemp rope is soft, supple, and dependably strong, with an unforgettable earthly aroma. Hemp rope is softer and heavier than jute and is also stronger. It is less scratchy and gentler on the skin. This extra weight makes a difference to how it feels to tie with hemp rope, it feels ‘slower’, compared to the rapid flinging around of Jute rope - although for some people such difference isn’t particularly noticeable.
