A sculptural floor lamp shaped by hand-applied rubber resin, designed to exist both as a source of light and as an object in its own right. Even when unlit, the piece holds a strong physical presence, standing between functional lighting and sculpture. The surface is built gradually by applying rubber resin by hand, almost like sculpting directly onto the body of the lamp. This process gives the piece an irregular, tactile character, where each mark and layer remains visible rather than hidden. When illuminated, the lamp emits a soft atmospheric glow through its translucent body. When turned off, it becomes a standing sculpture, defined by its form, surface, and material weight. Rather than treating light as its only function, the piece explores how a lamp can occupy a room as a sculptural object, shifting between utility, atmosphere, and presence.
