Available in both plank and butcherblock construction styles, they come in a variety of stains, edge profiles, and pricing options. Custom dimensions and finishes can also be quoted upon request to meet specific design requirements. Constructed from kiln-dried, solid red oak, these table tops are engineered for strength, stability, and long-term performance in demanding commercial settings. Each top is crafted from continuous, full-length boards to ensure uniform grain alignment and minimize the risk of warping. Red oak typically displays a more pronounced grain pattern than white oak, with natural color variations ranging from light pinkish tones to deeper reddish browns, depending on the wood’s origin and cut. A matte-finish, two-component acrylic polyurethane coating is applied to protect the surface from heat, abrasion, and moisture while maintaining low-maintenance usability. The grain direction runs the full length of the tabletop, making it well-suited for installations where multiple tops are joined end-to-end. Undersides are not predrilled to accommodate a wide range of base mounting needs and may show non-structural holes resulting from the manufacturing process. In addition to an appropriate table base bottom size it is important to determine if your top will need multiple vertical columns, large diameter columns, oversize top plates or oversize spiders. Commercial table tops and table bases are usually sold separately. It is for this reason, among others, that table tops are NOT predrilled on the underside for table base attachment. Solid wood tops often have three or more holes on the underside to facilitate manufacturing.
