Red Pumpkin Nerite Snails are a freshwater snail known for their pumpkin like shells and their algae-eating abilities. These snails are incredibly hardy, and can thrive in a wide range of water conditions. Their vibrant shell colors can vary from red and pink with intricate white dots and markings, to orange or yellow with dark stripes. Known for their excellent scavenging abilities, they’ll even burrow through gravel to find every last bit of algae.
