by Nick Kekic Bellow Falls, VT These designs are inspired by a Venetian Glass Blowing technique using thin rods or canes of colored glass that are fused together, wound around a bubble of glass and twisted and blown to create tiny, super fine lines or threads of color in the vessel. These pieces demonstrate some of the delicate, complex patterns that can be achieved with the unique, almost magical properties of cane-worked blown glass. Nicholas Kekic is a third-generation glassmaker known for his vibrantly colored, functional blown-glass vessels. His work is characterized by strong, simplified forms and "jewel-toned" colors, blending beauty with everyday utility in pieces like pitchers, bowls, and pendant lights. Based in Vermont, he founded Tsuga Studios in 2000 alongside his wife, Tamasin. Dimensions: Diameter 7.25" x Height 8.5"
