A good hardy Protea for the garden that grows to a height from 1.5 to 2 metres with a similar spread. Oval blue-green leaves with red margins and showy deep peach / pink to scarlet flowers fringed with reddish purple hairs up to 150 mm (6 in) across during spring and summer. Flowers are widely used in the cut flower industry.A very decorative garden shrub that is also suited for growing in containers or a conservatory in cooler climates. Prefers a light well-drained rich soil in an open sunny position, drought and frost resistant.
