Chateau Cru Godard 2022 Violets, blackcurrants, blueberries, cloves and walnuts on the nose. Fragrant and firm, with medium body and nicely polished tannins. On the palate the wine is light to medium bodied, focused and refreshing in character, with flavours of pomegranate and wild strawberry giving way to darker, more brooding fruit nuances on the mid-palate. The tannins are soft and seamlessly integrated, providing an elegant structural framework that speaks well to the wine's cellaring potential. 70% Grenache, 30% Shiraz. Fabrice Dodane (Saint-Pierre) - VDF "Tout Facile" 2023 Very light fire red, on the nose a cocktail of raspberries, red currants and wild strawberries, nuances of blackberry leaves and pine cones, literally smells of acidity and minerality. On the palate an airy texture, wiry body supported by a strong acidity, harmoniously supported by tannin, red berries again, subtle flint, the extremely juicy drinking flow ensures great potential for fun. Rich and complex in the mouth, with red fruit aromas intertwines with vanilla, wood and delicate spice flavours. Jean-Luc Jamet - Cote du Rhone "Enclave" 2022 Named for the fact that these vines are nearly surrounded by parcels classified as Côte Rôtie, the 2020 Cotes du Rhone l'Enclave was bottled the week before I arrived at the domaine.
