The Copadichromis borleyi, commonly referred to as the redfin hap, represents a sought-after, moderately-sized cichl id species endemic to Lake Malawi's waters. Sexual dimorphism is pronounced in this species, with males exhibiting superior size and chromatic intensity, displaying striking azure and crimson hues, whereas females and immature specimens present a silvery appearance with reddish fin coloration.
