Redington Ace Reels are the newest entry level machined reels offered from Redington, replacing the very popular Redington Rise reels. These Redington Ace Reels are machined alumin um reels and are safe to use in saltwater, without the risk of corrosion, all at a very approachable price. These reels feature a sleek design with unique porting, allowing the backing to fully dry relatively quickly. These reels are lightweight and sport a smooth and strong sealed drag. Overall, Redington Ace reels are a great reel if you're looking for a fully machined reel at an affordable price. The color of the Redington Ace reel is "Night Rider" which at first glance almost looks black, but it is more of a dark royal blue which looks very nice. Here is what Redington has to say about their Redington Ace reels: We've upped the ante in the all-around reel game with the new Ace reel, because when it comes to fishing—why gamble on success?
