Strong and iconic, this Redwood Slice copper pin-back button or tie-tack is inspired by the age-rings found in the cross section of a redwood tree trunk. The design was hand drawn, etched and individually shaded with black patina, to enhance the contrast of the wood rings. Patina tints the back of the piece and each piece is sealed to prevent tarnish and protect your clothes from discoloration. The pin measures approximately 1 inch in diameter and tie-tack clasp features a reinforced spring clutch to keep your pin from falling off your garment. Because this pin is crafted by hand, there are slight discrepancies between each piece and some may have superficial marks on the back.
