Less heralded is the HexRide, which was an evolution from the Hexalite technology created way back in 1989. HexRide plays off the shape of a hexagon being one of the strongest weight to shape ratios as a way to provide additional cushioning and energy transfer. Compared to Hexalite, Hexride was dramatically larger and more impactful, both functionally and visually.
