The REED Chamfer Plane Sled Kit allows you to modify a bench plane or block plane into a chamfer plane quickly and easily. The markings on the plate allow you to easily set the size of the chamfer. The whole sled weighs and feels much like using a simple block plane but with the accuracy of a chamfer plane.The Hardware kit includes; 2 Bronze mounting brackets, 4 neodymium magnets, 2 thumb screws, 2 threaded inserts, 2 small wood screws, and the 4-page set of Instructions.The Rails are 11” long so you can cut them to the length needed for your plane.
