Reed Machine 30th Anniversary Model - Standard Made of durable blue anodized aluminum, the Reed Machine by Robert DiLutis is accurate to +/- .001" and is guaranteed to copy any reed - commercial, handmade or guide reed. Once a reed is placed on the left side of the table and a blank is placed on the right, the copying can begin of any E-flat clarinet, B-flat clarinet, Soprano saxophone or Alto saxophone reed (attachment sold separately). With a mere movement from left to right, fine strips of cane are removed from the blank until a new reed is formed. After clipping, the reed is ready to play! Three styles of precision Teflon guide reeds are also available. The Reed Machine table has a removable insert that can be replaced with any of these guide reeds. The basic machine comes with a standard DiLutis-style Bb clarinet reed template. (see deluxe model for more included accessories).
