Instead of stitching the individual segments of the kite’s leading edge, Ralf Grösel developed a manufacturing technique that exclusively enables him to weld the individual segments together. How a kite turns has always been a key focus for Damien when designing kites, and PROWELD allows for zero play between each Leading Edge segment. This means the entire LE acts as if it’s made out one one single piece – giving absolute perfect bending and rebound characteristics.
