This thermometer is an affordable end to arguments over temperature accuracy. We start with a high stability platinum RTD sensor rated at 1/10th the conformance limits of the DIN s pecification. The general purpose probe is attached to a high precision resistance thermometer that provides 0.01° resolution. The combination is calibrated as a system to minimize all errors and the final deviations are given for five temperatures on the included calibration certificate.
