Global warming has ruled the earth’s climate for decades, forcing mankind to adapt. Like dinosaurs - polar bears, reindeers, and penguins have since become extinct, existing only in historical literature. 04 hangs in a lab at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) amongst a team of scientists as they gather to create vaccines to fight the new malaria mutation ravaging the world. 04 is the fourth in a collection of futuristic organic artworks that uses metallics to interpret the future of art in a modern, dystopian world. To achieve this look, the artist employs innovative paint materials that use microscopic particle technology - where the pigment itself is less than half the size of a red blood cell. Note: Every piece is handmade, bearing traces of the creative process which may manifest as unevenness, textures, or imperfections.
