As a kid, my family had a telescope that we’d use to look up and try to find the planets. I remember the quiet of those nights, standing still, adjusting the lens, and waiting for something to come into focus. Seeing planets for the first time felt like such a big experience for me at the time. What stayed with me most was the realisation of how big everything was. That moment of understanding that the universe was far larger than anything I could imagine, and that I was very small within it. It was the first time I remember thinking about scale in that way. This painting reflects that feeling. The scattered star-like forms, layered colour and open space are about looking up and letting your thoughts drift. It’s about curiosity, perspective, and the quiet awe that comes from realising there’s more out there than you’ll ever see. Each original artwork is one-of-a-kind and created in my Melbourne studio. The piece will be carefully packaged in a custom double-walled box to ensure safe delivery. Shipping is included within Australia. If you’d like to know about international shipping, please reach out.
