Reflet is made entirely from solid brass, sandcast at the base and polished above. The contrast between the two surfaces is deliberate. The base is rough and tactile, retaining the marks of the casting process. The tubes above are clean and vertical, catching light in a completely different way. Because every base is hand-poured in small batches, no two pieces are exactly alike. Left uncoated, the brass will either maintain its gleam with occasional polishing or develop a natural patina over time. Reversible and versatile, the tubes also work as a minimalist vase for a single stem or branch. A first edition piece, available in limited quantities. Holds two candles. Show more
