Rega Kyte Stand Adaptors: Elevate Your Listening The Rega Kyte Stand Adaptors are the essential accessory for audiophiles looking to integrate the unique Rega Kyte loudspeakers into a dedicated stereo system. Because the Kyte speakers feature a distinctive injection-moulded phenolic cabinet with a naturally tilted "desktop" stance, they require these custom-designed adaptors to sit perfectly flat on standard loudspeaker stands. Made from high-quality, rigid metal, these adaptors replace the standard rear feet, creating a stable, level base that ensures your speakers project audio directly at ear height for the optimal imaging and tonal balance. Key Features: Custom Engineered: Designed exclusively for the Rega Kyte loudspeakers to ensure a perfect mechanical fit. Level Placement: Modifies the speaker's angle from a desktop tilt to a flat, forward-firing position suitable for floor stands. Solid Construction: robust metal build provides a rigid, vibration-free platform for the speaker cabinet. Improved Stability: expanded footprint ensures the curved cabinet sits securely on the top plate of third-party stands. Easy Installation: Simple screw-in design replaces the standard rear foot in seconds without the need for complex tools. Sold as a Pair: Includes two adaptors to set up a full stereo pair of Kyte speakers. Perfect Positioning The Rega Kyte speakers are famous for their unique cabinet shape, which is optimized for rigidity. Out of the box, they include a rear foot designed to tilt the speaker upwards—perfect for placing on a sideboard or desk. However, when placing them on dedicated floor stands, this tilt is undesirable. The Kyte Stand Adaptors correct this geometry, leveling the speaker so the tweeter fires horizontally. This is crucial for achieving the correct phase alignment and soundstage depth when seated in a traditional listening position. Simple and Secure Rega has designed these adaptors for simplicity. To install, you simply unscrew the standard adjustable rear foot provided with the speakers and screw the metal adaptor in its place. The adaptor provides a wide, flat surface area that rests securely on the top plate of your speaker stand. This not only levels the speaker but also enhances stability, preventing the curved cabinet from rocking or sliding, ensuring your music remains focused and precise.
