Reiki In Milton Keynes Reiki is an ancient Japanese alternative healing modality. The word "Reiki", means ‘universal life energy’ which represents a natural system to help bring ab out an improved sense of wellbeing, with personal positivity and spiritual renewal. Reiki was founded by Dr Mikao Usui in the early 20th century, through years of research, experience and dedication. Benefits of having a Reiki session, include deep relaxation, calm and peace as well as a sense of wellbeing and balance. During the treatment, the recipient remains clothed and comfortably lies on a couch or sits on a chair. Reiki is non-obtrusive, does not involve manipulation or massage and can be used on the person as a whole, or on specific parts of the body. The practitioner gently places their hands on or near the body using their intuition and training. Reiki is taught by Reiki Master/Teachers, who have trained in the tradition passed on, in person, from Master to student. Students complete a process of initiation/attunement to the Reiki energy. The treatment will help with emotional, physical, mental balance and spiritual growth. Each Reiki Session is 1 hour. It takes place in our Holistic Centre in Milton Keynes.
