Reiki energy flows from the practitioner's hands into the client in a standard treatment. The client will lie on a massage table if in person. If receiving a virtual service, the client can lie in a comfortable position. During the session, the client remains fully clothed. The practitioner places their hands on or near the client's body in a series of sacred hand positions. The sacred hand positions will include positions around the head, shoulders, stomach, and feet.
