Artist Reflections “The fields and everything in them exult; then shall all the trees of the forest rejoice” - Psalms 96:12 How can we hear the fields exulting? How can we see the forest rejoicing? We must exult with the fields to hear them sing praise; we must rejoice with the trees to see them dance with joy. Thus, just as the Psalmist captured the praise of the fields with his own songs of praise, I captured the joy of this Eucalyptus grove in the Golan Heights by dancing in joy with the trees. Moving my camera up and down to their rhythm and keeping the shutter open in a long exposure, I painted their hidden liveliness onto this photograph.
