Many great purposes can be found in writing. In 2 Nephi 25:26 in the Book of Mormon, we are taught how we can develop our faith and understanding of God's laws and love for us: "And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins." Through rejoicing in Christ and writing about the inspiration and insights you receive as you learn of Him throughout your studies, you will find great joy. You will be able to develop your understanding of all things that our Father in Heaven desires for you to know and become better able to share that knowledge. Purpose will be found in these exercises as you grow in understanding your relationship with Jesus Christ, and you will learn to rejoice in writing as it helps you to serve God and others. Be prepared to write with rejoicing! Consider sharing what you have written when prompted. You will come to understand that your work herein can and will further your writing abilities for all areas of study and life when you write with these purposes in mind.
